Rose du Dadès

E così siamo tornati dal nostro viaggio.

Me ne ricorderò la bellezza, non solo quella dei luoghi e delle cose

Ma degli stati d'animo e delle persone

 And so we came back from our tour.
I'll remember the beauty, not only of places and things
But also of moods and people

Di quelle che quel poco che hanno lo donano tutto, e anche di più

perchè donano una parte di sè, con quegli sguardi colmi di gentilezza

 Of those who give what little they have it all, and more
why give a part of themselves, with those eyes full of kindness

Porto con me un po' di quelle rose che lei mi ha regalato con un gesto semplice,

quando ci siamo salutate, perchè nascono lì proprio dove lei vive, 

nella Valle del Dadès, una valle fertile e meravigliosa tra le montagne dell'Atlas.

 I bring with me a bit of those roses that she gave me with a simple gesture, when we said goodbye,
because they are born there, right where she lives, in the Valley of Dadès,  
a beautiful and fertile valley between the Atlas mountains

Un delizioso angolo di tranquillità, perfetto per uno spazio ombreggiato.

La ghiaia consente di risolvere ogni problema nei luoghi dove l'erba stenta.

I mobili di ghisa, dettagli vintage, e quel tocco di colore delle sedie lo rendono uno spazio pieno di spunti!

 A lovely quiet place, perfect for a shaded area.

Pastel touches DIY

Il caldo di luglio mi ha fatto desiderare la freschezza di qualche colore pastello.

Per la verità era da un po' che desideravo cambiare il look ad un tavolino dell'Ikea,

e ad un minuscolo vecchio sgabello.

Così ho voluto provare un fresco verde acqua trovato da Leroy e Merlin.

 The July heat made ​​me want the freshness of some pastel color.
In truth it was a bit that I wanted to change the look to an Ikea coffee table,

and to a small old stool.  So I tryed a fresh aqua green found at Leroy Merlin.

 Ho provato anche a dare un'aria più datata alla struttura di metallo nera, facendola divemtare marrone ferro "stagionato".

 I also tried to give an aged look to the black metal structure, making it a brown "seasoned" iron.

 

Per la struttura di metallo ho usato Fernovus (Saratoga) color "Marrone Rinascimento metallizzato".

Per la parte di legno ho usato un colore acrilico della marca Fleur, colore "Cape Town Blue".

Infine ho passato una mano di cera neutra bianca.

For the metal frame I used Fernovus (Saratoga) color "Renaissance Brown metallic".

For the piece of wood I used an acrylic paint brand Fleur, "Cape Town Blue" color.
Than I gave a coat of neutral white wax.

 

 Il risultato mi è piaciuto molto: semplice e fresco, e quel verde acqua mi dice tanto ..... ESTATEEE!

 I liked the result: simple and fresh, and aqua green tells me so much ..... SUMMEEEER!

Un giardino che sembra naturale e che nasconde in verità un disegno ben strutturato.

Cespugli di piante facili, scelte e armonizzate con cura come piccoli Bossi a palla, Stachys byzantina

dalle grigie foglie pelose, Valeriana bianca ed Euphobia characias, costeggiano i vialetti di ghiaia.

Semplici tocchi di blu, conferiscono ancora maggior interesse

Io lo trovo semplicemente meraviglioso!

with gray hairy leaves, white Valerian and Euphobia characias, along the gravel paths.
