Little DIY Project and I Was Featured!!

Hello everybody!
The heat gives us no respite!

Even my loved cut (fresh) flowers don't last a day! Look these sweet roses

Il caldo non ci da tregua!

Anche i miei amati fiori (freschi) non riescono a durare un solo giorno!

Guardate queste povere rose

We can only wait for it flows away

In the meanwhile I try to be creative

doing some new ornamente for my home

Possiamo solo aspettare che scivoli via

Nel frattempo cerco di crere 
qualche nuova decorazione per la mia casa

Vi consiglio di farci un giretto, è proprio bellissimo!

I printed it on a common paper

than I create an old look dampening with some coffee:

the more it is black the more it will seem old

It's better not to bee too exact when you wet the paper

It will seem more authentic

L'ho stampata su carta comune, poi invecchiata inumidendola col caffè:

più sarà scuro più l'effetto sarà invecchiato

Meglio non essere troppo precise quando si bagna la carta

sembrerà più autentico

I use vinyl glue to stick

than I add some vinyl glue also on the in the front side

as a common decoupage

Incollo con vinavil poi ne passo un po' anche sulla facciata anteriore

come un decoupage normale

Easy, quick, cheap

but with charme...

Facile, veloce, non costoso

ma con charme...

My Bedroom Reveal

Few months ago started our adventure of our master bedroom makeover.

As I told you we live in a rent apartment, rooms not too wide, all north facing.

Alcuni mesi fa è iniziata l'avventura della risistemazione della nostra camera da letto.

Viviamo in un appartamento in affitto, stanze non troppo ampie, tutto esposto a nord

In addition the room, all north exposed, was very icy during winter days

So it needed to be well isolated

In più la stanza, tutta esposta a nord, era molto fredda d'inverno 

così doveva essere ben isolata

So we have to think a lot how to use space at the best of its possibilities

and how to make the brighter possible a space wit direct sunlighht only 1 hour a day...

Così abbiamo dovuto pensare bene come usare lo spazio al meglio delle sue possibilità

e come illuminare al massimo spazi con la luce diretta del sole per un'oretta al giorno...

We found some old furniture

needing some make up too

Abbiamo trovato alcuni vecchi mobili

che avevano bisogno di una bella risistemata

And we work hard also with them

but the result worths all the time we dedicated them

Un bel lavoro anche con loro

ma alla fine il risultato è valso tutto il tempo che gli abbiamo dedicato

My Kitchen and something about me

Less than 1 year ago I discover fabulous blogland

In the meanwhile I saw so many pictures of gorgeous homes

a sweet style

mainly made of white and light.

Meno di 1 anno fa ho scoperto il favoloso mondo dei blog

Ho visto così tante immagini di case meravigliose

uno stile dolce

per lo più fatto di bianco e luce

Old objecs and furniture living a new life:

also a very ecological way of living

Vecchi oggetti e mobili che tornano a vivere una nuova vita:

anche un modo di vivere molto ecologico.

The strange thing is that it seemed to me

that all that belonged to me since a long time

that shabby it was me

La cosa strana è che mi è sembrato 

che tutto ciò mi appartenesse da tanto tempo 

che shabby ero proprio io

So I started to change everything in my home, 

first all the walls become white,

than the furniture

and all the pendants

become white christal chandeliers

 Così ho cominciato a cambiare ogni cosa nella mia casa,

prima di tutto i muri sono diventati bianchi

poi i mobili

poi i lampadari sono diventati bianchi e di cristallo

I've always been romantic

in love with roses, peonies, hydrangeas and wisteria
I love what has a soul

and I've always loved to make many things by myself
to be outside the box

 sono sempre stata piuttosto romantica

amo rose, peonie, ortensie e glicine
amo quel che ha un'anima

e ho sempre amato fare tante cose con le mie mani
 per essere fuori dall'appiattimento delle cose fatte in serie

In this idea of all-change I was supported by my sweet hubby

who helps me when I need

I'm a powerhouse, I've thousand of ideas, and a few time...

He patiently follows me, and make possible all the changes, 

painting, sawing, cutting ...

In questa idea di cambiare tutto sono stata supportata dal maritino

che mi aiuta al bisogno:

sono un vulcano di idee, ma ho così poco tempo...

Lui mi  segue  pazientemente, e ha reso possibili tutti i cambiamenti

pitturando, tagliando, segando

Everything in our home has been reworked from us

choosen, repaired, painted, sewn...

and dribs and drabs home is becoming

as I like it

Ogni cosa nella nostra casa è stata rimaneggiata da noi

scelta, aggiustata, dipinta, cucita

e un po' alla volta la casa sta uscendo

come la vorrei

Made of little details having soul

fatta di piccoli dettagli che hanno un'anima

and a relaxed taste

e un gusto rilassato

Summer House in Ponza (another incredible one)

It's in Ponza (LT), thats's a gorgeous Island in front of Latium coast- Italy
