I live in Central Florida, Saint Cloud,Fl I'm a stay at home mother of 4 children, one year old, 3 year old and 15 and 16 year old. And I have been married for 6 years now, together for 10 years.

My love for decorating has been since i was a child, i have always love to decorate, paint, and draw. some what of an artist . My love for Shabby chic style started about 7 years ago.

I started decorating my home about 6 years ago, i started all over painted everything white, and got rid of everything i did not use anymore, keep only the important things, and useful things. I now only purchase what i need, or what i can not live without.

Very much inspired by Rachel Ashwell. I have all her books, read them all the time,and live by them.

My favorite room in my home i would have to say would be my living room kitchen area. I live in them the most, my house is kinda all in one, all the rooms connect and i can see the kids where ever the might be , its a very airy open space. I love the openness of everything.

What camera and lenses do you use to take your fabulous pictures?

The camera i use is really nothing special Coolpix L100 Nikon, it was a gift from my husband. I'm not a photographer, I have just started taking pictures about 8 weeks or so ago for my blog. I love to take photos now, but my real love is decorating .

My future for my home will be to just keep it Simple. Relaxed. Cozy. And I will keep lots , and lots of Fresh Flowers!!! Most important to me.... None of my photos are complete without fresh flowers.

I love to shop Flea markets...that is my favorite thing to do.
In the future i would love to have some sort of job with my passion for homes and decor , but for now ...JUST MOMMY !! Maybe one day !!

Oh Silvia, My daughter and her best friend are going to Italy this month. Emily is tall long dark hair and Rachel is little shorter with long beautiful brown hair. Look out for them for us please! They are 18 and 19 years old. First big trip by themselves. Moms worry like that. And we need spy's for them.

RispondiEliminaI love everything about her style. It is so cozy. Now I really want a bed in our living room. My oldest son moved back home this year and has been sleeping on the sofa. He could use a bed in the living room. And I don't think he would care if I covered it in Rachel Ashwell linens. One of my favorite things about Tasha is that she is happy remaining home and Mothering being her job. I also like that she is able to take such lovely photos with a simple camera. I also only have a simple camera the canon powershot. I just don't have the money to run out and buy a fancy one...and I don't feel I should have to. Lovely guest post!
