Hello darling friends!

These last days of the year are the most hectic for me.

Many things to do for my job

Ciao a tutti cari amici!

Questi ultimi giorni dell'anno sono i più frenetici dell'anno per me

Tante cose da fare sul lavoro

and I still have to start create all my Christmas gifts!!

This year (as all the years almost the great part of them)

I'll give only hand made gifts, and they are a lot!

e devo ancora creare tutti i miei regali di Natale!!

Quest'anno (come tutti gli anni, per la gran parte)

saranno fatti  a mano da me, e sono tanti!

Of course all little things

only foods and little objects, done to warm heart

Narturalmente tutte piccole cose

solo cibi e piccoli oggetti, fatti per scaldare il cuore

So, because I'm in a hurry today I post not my photos, as usually I do.

I have many to show you, but no time to unload from my camera until now...

Così, dato che oggi sono di corsa, non posterò le mie foto

Then I printed the one I prefere on fabric, and sewed on these little pillows

Christmas Decorations DIY in My Home - The Rose Tree

Hello my sweet friends!

As I promise I'm here again with some Christmas decorations idea.

Ciao a tutte care amiche!

Come promesso sono di nuovo qua con qualche idea per le decorazioni natalizie.

This year I saw so many fabric roses all around the web

that I couldn't don't be swept by this mania.

I'm a romantic gal...

Quest'anno ho visto così tante rose di stoffa nel web

che non ho potuto non essere travolta da questa mania.

Ammetto, sono una donna romantica...

So I asked to a darling blog friend Chiara from My Country Nest blog
to teach how to do fantastic fabric roses

She kindly did a very simple tutorial

Così ho chiesto ad una cara amica Chiara del blog My Country Nest 
come faceva le sue fantastiche rose di stoffa

Lei molto carinamente ha fatto un tutorial molto semplice.

It's very very simple and quick, after the first one or two...

All you need is some fabric (I had linen and old lace) and hot glue

and... ouch, very resistent fingertips!

E' molto semplice e rapido, dopo la prima o la seconda...

Tutto ciò che serve è qualche avanzo di stoffa (io avevo lino e un vecchio pizzo)

e colla a caldo, e ... dita molto resistenti!

To relize the Rose Tree you will need:

some fabric roses;

cardbord;

hot glue;

a little holder (I had this little cute zinc one, you can find very similar in Ikea)

a little piece of ribbon, as you prefere

double-sided tape

Per fare l'albero con le rose servono:

rose di stoffa

cartoncino

colla a caldo

un vasetto per contenere l'alberino (il mio è di zinco, se ne trovano di simili all'Ikea)

un po' di nastro a piacere

scotch biadesivo.

First of all you have to cut the cardbord into a triangle, then roll it into a cone.

Paste it with the double-sided tape.

Tagliare il cartoncino a forma di triangolo, poi arrotolarlo

fino ad ottenere un cono delle dimensioni che volete.

Fermarlo col nastro biadesivo.

Put the double-sided tape all around the cone, and place all your roses,

then, when you have find each position paste the fabric roses on the cone with hot glue

(pay attention! It's very hot!!).

Attaccate strisce di nastro biadesivo su tutto il cono, e posizionate le vostre rose,

poi quando avete trovato la giusta posizione di tutte cominciate a incollarle con la colla a caldo

(attenzione, brucia moltissimo!!)

Decorate the tree and the holder with the ribbon as you like.

Decorate l'albero e il contenitore con il nastro come più vi piace.

Easy, no??
