Our Garden - I'm in love!

Quando lo guardo ora e penso a come era nemmeno due anni fa quasi fatico a crederci

When I look at it now and think about how it was less than two years ago

it's hard to believe also for me

e provo una soddisfazione che non riesco a nascondere

and I feel a satisfaction that I can not hide

 

 

Prometto che pubblicherò anche le foto del prima, 

amo molto anche io i prima e dopo

I promise I will publish photos of the "before",  

I also really love to see the before-and-after

 

 

ma per ora vi mostro qualche scorcio, 

perchè questa primavera mi sta regalando proprio delle grandi emozioni! 

but now I show you some insight, 

because this spring is giving me just great emotions!

This new life

Sono felice ogni volta che imparo qualcosa, 

si tratti di una nuova ricetta o di una lezione di vita non importa. 

Quel che conta è non smettere mai di crescere, e magari migliorare.

I am happy every time I learn something,  

whether it's a new recipe or a lesson in life does not matter.  

What matters is to never stop growing, and maybe better. 

  Questo nuovo lavoro mi sta facendo conoscere tanta gente, 

e ognuna, a modo suo, lascia un segno.

This new job is making me meet a lot of people, 

and each, in its own way, leaves a mark. 

Sono grata a chi mi ha dato qualche strumento in più nell'usare la macchina fotografica 

(Sandy in ogni mia foto ci sarà un po' di te!)
 

I am grateful to those who gave me a few more tools to use the camera 

(sweet Sandy in all my photos there will be a bit of you!)

  

 e anche a chi, diventato vegano a 81 anni (sì avete capito bene 81!!) 

mi ha insegnato che non è mai tardi per nuovi ideali.

and also to those who became vegan at 81 years (yes you read right 81!) 

 taught me that it is never too late for new ideals.

Ai piedi del glicine una meravigliosa peonia (Bowl of Beauty).

This is one of my favourite corner of our garden.

At the foot of our wisteria a magnificent peony (Bowl of Beauty).  

Ora è affiancata da una rosa a cui non ho potuto resistere mentre visitavo

l'ultima edizione di Terrazzi e Giardini qua a Bologna

 Le nuvole ci hanno provato, ma alla fine anche il sole se l'è risa ben bene.

Finally a few days off to rest and spend time together without clocks, without goals.
 Finalmente qualche giorno di vacanza, per riposare e stare tutti insieme, senza orologi, senza mete.

 
Free to walk wherever we want and all the time that our heart wants.

  Liberi di camminare dove vogliamo e per tutto il tempo che il nostro cuore vuole.

  

I predict that we'll be a long time with a uphill nose.
Sun, I know you will not leave us!

Prevedo che staremo tanto tempo col naso all'insù.
Sole lo so che non ci lascerai!

A fast life these days.
And I have taken it to flight,
