A New Look

Some of you asked me concerned about what was happening to my blog,  

that for a couple of days was not visible.
I replied that it was a little surprise ... and here it is!
A new look for my virtual living room, my beloved blog!

 

Qualcuno di voi mi ha chiesto preoccupato cosa stesse succedendo al mio blog, 

che per un paio di giorni non è stato visibile.
Ho risposto che era una piccola sorpresa ... ed eccola qua!
Un nuovo look per il mio salotto virtuale, il mio amato blog!

 

A special thanks to darling Mara, who with patience and affection followed me in this new adventure  

(change the look of a blog is a delicate thing!).

 Un grazie speciale alla carissima Mara, che con pazienza ed affetto mi ha seguita in questa nuova avventura (cambiare look ad un blog è una cosa delicata!).

 
Mara took my desires, and has developed them with great professionalism and taste.

  She also gave me homeworks: insert tag to all the posts that I've made. 

And here the question arises: why the heck I write so many posts?! =)

Mara ha colto i miei desideri, e li ha sviluppati con gran professionalità e gusto.
Mi ha anche dato i compiti per casa: inserire tag a tutti i post che ho fatto.

E qui mi sorge la domanda: ma perchè diamine scrivo così tanti post??!! =)

Muffins Simplest Recipe

And then there are days when you need to quickly get something good to offer, your daughter's friends coming to study,  to your guests for breakfast, to your friends, coming for a quick coffee and - thank goodness - remaining chatting for hours ...

E poi ci sono giornate in cui devi avere velocemente qualcosa di buono da offrire, alle amiche delle figlie che vengono a studiare a casa tua, agli ospiti per colazione, alle tue amiche, che passano per un caffè veloce e - grazie al cielo - restano a chiacchierare per ore...

 This is my basic recipe for muffins, simple, fast, foolproof.

 200 g flour
 150 g sugar 
2 teaspoons of baking powder 
2 eggs 
70 g butter

1/2 cup of milk

Questa è la mia ricetta base dei muffins, semplice, velocissima, infallibile.

200 gr farina
150 gr zucchero
2 cucchiaini di lievito in polvere
2 uova
70 gr burro
1/2 bicchiere di latte

Melt the butter (microwave can be perfect)and place in a bowl, add the milk and eggs and melt quickly all ingredients with a whisk  without mixing too much.In another bowl combine all dry ingredients and mix well.Combine the wet mixture (eggs , etc. ) into the dry ingredients and stir quickly.  

If the compound is a little lumpy even better.

Sciogliere il burro (il microonde è perfetto) e porlo in una terrina, aggiungere il latte e le uova e stemperaregli ingredienti rapidamente con una frusta, senza mescolare troppo.
In un'altra terrina unire tutti gli ingredienti secchi e mescolarli bene.
Unire il composto umido (uova ecc) agli ingredienti secchi e mescolare rapidamente. Se il composto resta un po' grumoso meglio.

Put the paper cups in the muffin molds  (I do it myself with greaseproof paper )

and fill them with a spoon with the dough until 2/3

 Bake at 180-200 degrees for 10-15 minutes. They are ready when they are nice golden.

Mettete i pirottini di carta negli stampi da muffin (io li faccio da me con della carta forno)

e riempirli  a cucchiaiate con l'impasto fino a 2/3
 Cuocere a 180-200° per 10-15 minuti. Sono pronti quando sono belli dorati.

At this basic compound can be added anything:
pices of chocolate, fresh or dried cranberries, chopped nuts, cocoa powder or coconut flour

(in this case, replace part of the flour - about 50 grams - with coconut flour)...

 A questo composto base si può aggiungere qualsiasi cosa:
cioccolato in pezzi, mirtilli freschi o secchi, pezzetti di frutta secca, cacao in polvere o farina di cocco (in questo caso sostituire una parte della farina - circa 50 gr - con la farina di cocco)...

My Kitchen Before and After

I have always been fascinated to see the transformation of things, change a space.
Today I invite you to see the transformation of my house, from what we found 

when we took it, to how it has become now.

Mi ha sempre affascinato vedere la trasformazione delle cose, cambiare uno spazio.
Oggi vi invito a vedere le trasformazioni della mia casa, da quel che abbiamo trovato quando l'abbiamo presa, a come è diventata ora.

Uninhabited for a long time seemed to be the entrance hall of the witches ...  

A wall divided the space to create a microscopic kitchen as it used to be once, 

and it closed the wonder of light, that bringing it down is finally released.

Disabitata da tempo sembrava l'androne delle streghe... Un muro divideva lo spazio per creare un microscopico cucinotto come usava un tempo, e chiudeva la meraviglia di luce 

che abbattendolo si è finalmente liberata.

 I have always lived in homes where the kitchen was a sacrificed space.
Finally we had the chance to create a spacious one.

Ho sempre abitato in case dove la cucina era uno spazio sacrificato.
Finalmente abbiamo avuto la possibilità di crearne una spaziosa.

 

 

 Furnish this kitchen was very complicated, and I will never cease to thank enough the guys employees to the department of Ikea kitchens (saints now!) that with patience and expertise helped me

to compose it despite all the constraints we had.

 Arredare questa cucina è stato molto complicato, e non finirò mai di ringraziare abbastanza i ragazzi addetti al reparto cucine dell'Ikea (santi subito!) che con pazienza e competenza mi hanno aiutata a comporla nonostante tutti i vincoli che avevamo.

 

Non so se capita anche da voi, ma la vita passa tutta dalla cucina a casa nostra! 

Amici che entrano ed escono, compiti, giochi e panni da stirare...

 I do not know if it happens to you, but life goes across the kitchen in our house!  

Friends who come in and out, homework, games, and clothes to be ironed ...

 

And for those who still wonder if it ... 

No, the kitchen has never in these heavenly conditions!!

 E per quelli che ancora se lo domandano... 

No, la cucina non è mai in queste condizioni celestiali!!
