Our Faux Fireplace and a question

In our living room was missing something, a point of interest.

I  thaught to put a shelf , then the thunderbolt. In some blogs and on Pinterest I saw some fake fireplaces, and it was just the solution that I liked!

  Nel nostro salotto mancava qualcosa, un punto di interesse. Pensavo di mettere una mensola poi, il colpo di fulmine. In alcuni blog e su Pinterest ho visto dei falsi caminetti, ed era proprio la soluzione che mi piaceva.

 
I involved hubby, this time without his help I couldn't realize my project, 

and he, armed with patience, a few planks of wood and screws, invented in ours.

 Ho coinvolto il maritino, stavolta senza il suo aiuto proprio non ce la potevo fare e lui, armato di santa pazienza, qualche asse di legno e viti, ha inventato in nostro.

 E ora la domanda: lo lascereste di questo colore o lo sbianchereste, almeno un po'?
