Our simple Advent calendar

In ogni sacchettino un piccolo dono dolce, ma anche un bigliettino con qualche gioco semplice, come unire i puntini numerati, o con scritto qualche cosa di gentile da fare per gli altri.
Piccole cose che forse si perderanno nella memoria, ma resteranno nell'anima.

 Ormai è diventata una tradizione per il nostro piccolino, un calendario dell'Avvento fatto in casa. Così anche quest'anno qualche foglio di un vecchio libro, filo rosso e via con la macchina da cucire.

In Santa's mood

Chill out, and the smell of home made orange cake inside our home.

Hubby has created a decoration for the living room (details coming soon), a fake fireplace similar to the ones that I saw in foreign blogs and I liked so much.

Il maritino ha creato una decorazione per il soggiorno (i dettagli prossimamente), un finto camino simile a quelli che vedevo nei blog stranieri e che mi piacevano tanto.

It is already becoming the favorite corner for our Christmas decorations this year.

My Chocolate cake recipe (without butter)

 When friends brought us chocolate cake to celebrate the birth of Ca'Vermiglia

So, needless to say, I got to give the recipe, which I tried immediately, with a good helper ...

Quando gli amici ci hanno portato la torta di cioccolato per festeggiare la nascita di Ca'Vermiglia (la potete vedere QUI) 
è durata un batter di ciglia.

E così neanche a dirlo mi sono fatta dare la ricetta, che ho provato subito, con un valido aiutante...

250 gr sugar
250 gr flour
3 eggs
130 g seed oil (about 1 cup of yogurt)
130 grams of water
1 packet of yeast
30 grams of bitter cocoa powder
30 grams of sweetened cocoa powder



250 gr zucchero
250 gr farina
3 uova
130 gr olio di semi (1 bicchierino da yogurt circa)
130 gr di acqua
1 bustina di lievito
30 gr di cacao in polvere amaro
30 gr di cacao in polvere zuccherato

Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy.
Add the oil and the water.
Mix all the dry ingredients and add them to the mixture quickly.
Cover with baking paper a baking tin about 25 cm in diameter, and bake at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes in preheated oven.

Decorate with icing sugar.

 Battere le uova con lo zucchero fino ad ottenere un composto spumoso.
Aggiungere l'olio e l'acqua.
Mescolare tutti gli ingredienti secchi ed unirli velocemente al composto.
Foderare con la carta forno una tortiera di circa 25 cm di diametro e cuocere in forno prerscaldato a 180° per 35-40 minuti.

Decorare con zucchero a velo.
